Why class 9 is the ideal on-ramp
Class 9 is where study habits form: algebraic fluency, scientific reasoning, and the discipline of weekly testing. Starting foundation here means concepts are built without board-exam pressure — the jump to class 10, and later to JEE, never feels sudden.
Class 10 is still early enough
A class 10 foundation course keeps board preparation first while adding conceptual depth: tricky problems, HOTS questions and early exposure to competitive problem styles. Many of our strongest JEE batches started exactly here.
Signs your child is ready
Finishes school work without constant supervision
Enjoys at least one of maths or science beyond the textbook
Can sit through a 90-minute focused session
Is curious about 'why' and not only 'what'
Has weekday capacity — or can use the weekend foundation batch
What EA's foundation track actually does
NCERT mastery first, then higher-order-thinking practice; about 30% of assignments in the compatible-foundation curriculum are relevant to NTSE, IMO and similar exams; and the three-stage methodology carries students from clear basics to advanced problem solving by XI–XII.
